Hood Cable Replacement
Hood Cable Replacement
I'm replacing both the hood lock and cable. Is there anything special I need to know when replacing these? I'm assuming the hood lock assembly is just a simple swap out with a couple bolts.
As for the cable, is it as simple as running the new cable where the old one was? Does it easily attach to the hood lock on one end, and the lever on the inside of the car on the other end? Is there any other sort of adjustment I need to make? Thanks for any help.

Hood latch is 3 bolts and pretty easy to remove, just pay attention to how the cable is run into the latch before you remove it, it's kind of looped in, you also have to unplug the hood sensor (green plug). The cable should just connect on each side
Thank you for your help. I hope it's as easy as it seems. I just got my tracking number, and the parts aren't getting here until Monday. I'll let you know if I have any problems.
