I have a 97 3.0 CL auto 6cyl. CEL has been on 3-4 months, now that inspection time is near, took it to Autozone to pull the code. Came up P0133, 02 sensor CKT - slow response - (bank 1 sensor 1). Autozone gave me two oxygen sensors - one is a "Pre-Cat" and the other one is a "Post-Cat" . Guy there said he wasn't sure which one I needed. I am guessing that the pre/post refers to either the sensor before the cat converter(pre), or the one after(post). Maybe the simplicity here is what is stumping me . Do I buy a pre-cat or a post-cat sensor? And if there is a DIY thread on how to fix this could you please point me in that direction?!? Thanks in advance! All you guys on this forum are awesome!!
