heater sound

When I turn on the heat/climate control, i get a pretty loud vibration-type sound that seems to be coming from behind the glove box.. What could it be?

Blower bushings worn out or debris in the blower. A new blower is not expensive. Check ebay or other sources.

good luck

i did it, but i didn't make a DIY.
most likely you will have to replace it, as there was only dust and no debris in mine when i took it out.
here's the link to my thread, if it sounds the same as mine does in the video, then you're gonna have to replace it(it's a sealed unit so you can't take it apart either).

and as texashonda said, it's not expensive on ebay, just look for "blower motor" PM me any questions you have as i didn't end up making a full DIY for this.

meh... almost all the stuff i bought for the cl has been from the US, it's not that bad
and a hell of a lot cheaper than buying the stuff here.
and you can put off replacing it for a while, mine was making that noise on and off for a few months, cuz it's only the blower motor that is damaged and you're gonna throw it out afterwards anyways, so you don't risk anything else going bad if you leave it for awhile
