gay oil light

gay oil light

yea so I got my oil change a couple weeks ago and just a few days ago my oil light

1: stays on solid and 2: flashes as well wtf can this be? I looked in my manual and it said possibly low oil pressure but what can cause this?

could be oil pump going bad or clogged up screen on the pump, if its that then its not good and not an easy fix because its in the oil pan. it can do serious damage to your engine anytime you are not getting enough oil pressure to the parts so I definitely wouldn't drive it until it was fixed

definitely not a good sign to be driving any distance with oil light on.. get looked at asap

Check your calipers. My right rear was leaking out of a small seal around the emergency brake spring.

FIrst, make sure you have adequate oil.

Adequate oil level, check to make sure the filter is on tight, the oil cap is on, and your drain plug is on tight.

What does a caliber have to do with his oil where the engine isn't getting enough oil to the sensor making the oil light come on?

Ya know, the oil that feeds to the calipers. You haven't done that conversion yet?

damn, must of been half a sleep there... seen oil low and was thinking brake fluid haha...

I think I'm gonna use that on guys at work who don't know jack about cars
