Front Bumper

I checked the DIY section and there are instructions on how to take the bumper off and to put it back on, but I need someone to help me w/ some trouble shooting.

So, I took the bumper off b/c one of my headlights is leaking. When I went to put the bumper back on tonight, I can't get the 12mm bolts to go back in the holes - it's like they're too small or something. They twist and twist and never fit it; and i know I got the bolts out of those holes! If you're looking to the left of the hole for the turn signal lights, you can see one of the holes and if you take out the turn signal, you can see the other hole just behind it. It's symmetrical on both side, of course. I do believe that those bolts are the main thing holding the bumper on, so I have to get them on there! What am I doing wrong?

You may be trying to start at incorrect angle. Bolts are angled slightly as I remember. I would suggest taking bumper back off and making sure holes are clean and that bolts will start OK. This will allow you to see the correct alignment angle.

You may need to support the bumper w/ a box and shims to get holes in bumper to align w/ frame holes.

good luck
