Fog lights stuck on
My daughter's 1998 CL 3.0 has a strange issue. The factory fogs are stuck on and I can't find anything in my manuals as to relay locations, fuse location, etc.
With the key off they are still getting 12 volts from somewhere and the switch on the dash does nothing. It happened when we got it back from the body shop. My Volvo S60 has firmware in the ECU to enable the fogs. Does the CL have something similar? Could disconnecting the battery screw something up? Everything else works on the car. I'm stumped.

where is....
sounds like the relay is stuck on, look under the hood on the passenger side near the top of the engine bay for the fuse/relay box. there should be a diagram under the lid.

If they are the factory fog lights there is a relay on the drivers side of the engine compartment. It should be located somewhere near the head light. Take a look at the relay and see if it is messed up. Mine was completely fried. But my lights were staying on just like you stated.
