Flashing green key light

I have a 98 acura CL 3.0. When ever i turn the car off and take the key out of the ignition, a green key light flashes a few times then stops. Is this normal? Please let me know. Thanks.

Check with your dealer there is a recall on some of the '98s. there's something wrong with the ignition and the car can cut while you are driving.

its the immoblizer going on - perfectly normal. the recall that geminii is talking about is in the steering wheel column, some people were having problems with their cars stalling. Definately see if your's was fixed but the light has nothing to do with the recall. its perfectly normal. A quick glance of your owners manual would have told you this.
