Angry engine vibration problem, please help.

Recently bought a Acura 98 2.3CL, auto transmission, ~120 kmiles. Got vibration problem from the engine when stop the car and can be felt from the steering wheel and pedals. Had thougt the problem was due to the warped rotors or dying timing belt.

Got the following things done at the dealer and by myself:
1. surfaced font rotors
2. replaced enine front mount, was told the other 3 mounts are also weak
3. replaced timing belt.
4. replaced spark plug (myself)
5. replaced air filter (myself)

However the vibration problem remains. The vibration only shows up when stop the car, e.g., at the read light, with brake pedal either depressed or released. Strangely, the vibration problem does not show up everytime. The idling rmp seems normal ~900rpm. To give you an idea, how severe the vibration is: With the hood popped open, you can easily see that the coolant reservoir is vibrating with your naked eys.

Almost forgot, the mechanic said the auto transmission got slipping problem, which I declined to repair at the moment. Any suggestion for this also?

My acura is a pain in the ass. Please help. Any suggestion and comments are appreciated.

I checked the plug wires. They looks in good condition. BTW, I replaced the older NGK spark plugs with new Bosch spark plugs. No big difference in terms of vibrations.

Hi, thank you for your input.
By motor mounts. did you mean the engine mount? I got the front engine mount replaced. The mechanic told me the rear mount is also weak. But it will be very expensive to change it out, > $300 for the parts alone. How was your case? did you replace the front one or the rear one?

hmm tell me if this helps at all,
when you are stopped at the light or stop sign and its vibrating, put it into N and see if the vibrating goes away.

As I mentioned above, the vibration does not show up at every stop light/sign.
When it showed up last night, I put it into N. However, the vibration is still there.

What kind of conclusion can we draw here?
