Hey peeps, This problem I am having doesn't happen all the time, but every once in a while. When I crank the car hot/cold the RPM's drop to around 200. I have to give it some gas to keep it alive, but I can feel a hesitation in the motor when I do so. But as soon as I put it in drive, the problem is gone and it drives normal. Only seems to do it when its in Park. Like I said, it doesn't happen all the time, once every few weeks or so, Any ideas what it could be?

this sounds like the same problem my 98 cl 3.0 is having. you turn on it and it kills the engine. a number of things here. but im going to clean my idle air control valve and see if that fixes the problem.

anyone else chime in if you think its different.

I have to give it some gas to keep it alive, but I can feel a hesitation in the motor when I do so. After a minute or so engine runs smooth. But as soon as I put it in drive, the problem is gone and it drives normal. Only seems to do it when its in Park. I have cleaned throttle body and replaced IAC. Any ideas what it could be?

happens to me aswell

if i drive the car and then leave it parked between 10-20 min then start it again.. it will do it.. any time before or any time after the car will start normal..

but between that 10-20 min the car rpm drops and often the car shuts off if i dont gas it..

ummm...on the H22's they have something FICTV something something...
