drivers side floor wet?

i was cleaning up the CL today after winters fury and noticed my drivers side floor was pretty wet. it has rained here for like 2 days straight and my car was outside so im hoping its a clogged drain tube.. where is the drain tube located so i know how to fix this?

another symptom ive noticed is it seems like my heat isnt as hot as it was before. it is warm but just not hot. im worried i may have a bad heater core but the fluid im taking out of the carpet doesnt smell like coolant. any other symptoms i could look for which would point toward heater core?

Check the grommets above the pedals. They could be leaking. Dry it all up the best you can, get under there with a light and have someone pour water all over the car and see if you can tell any leaks.

If its coolant you would know and the whole cabin would smell. My guess is you tracked in a lot of water and its just soaked there.

i know its a common problem with Pontiac's i have owned in the past for the for the windshield seal to go bad. I'm newer to Honda's but it could be a possibility worth checking out.

i dried the carpet out w a heat gun and soaked the windshield for ab 5 mins with no moisture noted on the carpet afterward. all the downspouts appear to be working properly as i can see water flowing from them. the grommet above the clutch pedal is missing and i see a streak of what looks like some liquid running from the missing grommet down to the floor...im assuming this is my problem. im def hoping that heater core doesnt hafta come out. ill replace the grommet and update the thread after some time and a few rain falls. im also going to drive around with the heat on full blast and take careful note of my coolant level to see if the moisture returns or if i notice a drop in coolant. thanks to those w the quick replys.

hope its that coolant has a very strong smell you would know or can do the tase test (don't take to much) but it very sweet. and if it windshield mine would be fine over night but the carpet leading upto the dash would also have to be wet.

UPDATE:

def not the heater core. it rained for the past 2 days and i put on 100+ miles without even touching the climate control, left it off the whole time. the carpet got soaked again however, im having some trouble finding a replacement grommet for the clutch. ill post up a pic tomm of what i got goin on down there, and maybe somone could point me in the rite direction, if not ima fill the whole area in with silicone and see what happens. so glad the dash will not have to be removed.
