Sometime my driver side door would not lock. Ever since I got my car back from the paint shop...I get this click noise everytime I close my driver side door, which had never happened before I got my car painted. The driver side door refuses to lock sometime which is really annoying and most importantly people can go into my car. I have an arlarm, but if the door wont lock then its no use...Also I tried to lock it with the key manually and it still would not lock sometime...Anybody ever had the same problem that can help me with this? Help is appreciated.

 

more than likely its your actuator for the locking system. shouldnt cost a lot. just a lot time to put it in....

Thanks for the help...I found out that my bodyshop forgot to put in the actuator locking pin back in the hook. Had to open my door panel and put the hook in myself. Thanks again...

 

no problem...good thing you didnt have to replace it..
