Door Panel Question

Anybody ever use one of these? I need to remove my door panels but I don’t want to break the clips.

just be careful when you work with the clips. If you break some, a bag at the dealer is just ~$5, cheaper than the tool....

it just amazes me that people are so blinded by the concept of saving and yet they spend more money on unnecesary stuff...

A large screwdriver w/ masking tape on tip to protect paint. Pry as close to the retainer as possible. Once you can get your fingers under the panel, you can remove w/o the screwdriver. If any retainers are broken, replace them w/ new to get a tight secure door panel.

good luck

I think I broke 1 or 2, oh well. Maybe ill just stop at the dealers when I eventually put the damn thing back on. Dont waste your money on that 'tool'

You really don't need the tool, a flat head or your hand works just as well

i used my hand, i think when i took it apart it was missing acouple clips, but as long as you have the ones on the ends and 1 in the middle it'll be alright.
