does cheap muffler = cheap sound?

I dont have the money right now to get a catback exhaust and I was wondering how bad the sound quality is with a cheap ebay muffler. Any suggestions will help.

How much do you want for your a'pexi muffler? And what is a flange?

the flange is the part that the bolts go thru. I had one put on in case i ever wanted to take the muffler off and put my old one back on. You wouldnt need to weld anything, just unbolt your muffler and bolt on the other one.

If you want it just for the sound, thats one thing. But if you are doing it for performance value, look into doing something else. Intake, header, pulley. You wont get ANY performance value out of just a muffler.
