Try using a large pencil erasure. Worked for me.

mine looked like that when i took em off...

just hold the hair dryer there for a while, put on a liberal amount of goo gone, and scrape that shit with a credit card.

you sure it's glue and not a lack of paint

Put some acetone on a cloth and then hold the cloth over the glue and let that work for a few seconds and that should do it. Try doing the same thing with goo gone and not goo off. I've not used goo off but I know goo gone works. Then when your done go get some Turtle Wax Polishing Compound NOT the rubbing compound!! Polishing compound is in the green container and go over the effected area a few times with that and that should get rid of any discoloration that might be left over. I just finally did the polishing compound a few days ago after removing an emblem like a year and a half ago. When I first removed the badge I used a blow dryer and dental floss, then used goo gone and acetone to remove left over glue. but then I had this dark outline from where the emblem was and I couldn't get it off. I had some rubbing compound lying around so I tried that and it didn't help it actually put little scratches into my paint and made it a little worse. After that I just let it be and I drove around with this dark outline for the past year and a half. Until I decided to try polishing compound to see if that worked (I didn't think it would). After my first application the outlined seemed a little less prominent so I tried it again, and again, and again, and again and after about 5-6 applications it was gone. I didn't notice any extra scratches like what was caused by using the rubbing compound so I'm happy. The polishing compound also got rid of the paint exchange from another vehichle when it hit me. Very useful stuff for only $2. Highly Recommended!! Still haven't found a good use for rubbing compound though. I'm sure it would've worked just like the polishing but it would've scratched the shit out of my trunk lid in the process.

acetone is like the main ingredient in nail polish remover. If you live with the fam ask your rents if they have any lying around, they probably do. It's a paint thinner like mineral spirits, turpentine, etc. AFAIK they're basically all the same, at least they all smell the same so you could use any of those.

at the local car wash place, they have some liquid in a container for getting off weird stuff stuck to your car.. i dont know what it is, but i had some shit stuck to my car and nothing would get it off, and then they rubbed this stuff on it really good and it came off

i dont know what it is though, maybe someone else here does or maybe you could go to a local carwash and find out

Good luck guy. I did all of the above and still no dice. So now I'm going to have to sand it off and get my trunk repainted. Sucks don't it. I don't know why someone would still want those on, let alone glue that shit with some strange epoxy. Some people are so stupid.

If you can get your hands on some solvent that stuff will take it right off no problem. I work for a car dealership and the detail guys use that stuff on door jambs, glue lines from the white plastic that the car comes with when it gets dropped to the dealer.
