Hi everyone, this is the problem i am having right now.

so the other day i was putting on my shoes in the car and accidently kicked the led's that i had put near the brake and gas pedals. the led strip got loose, so i didnt really care, was gonna go home and tape it back on. when i started the car, turn on the switch for headlights, some white smoke came out the vents. decied to shut off the car and took a look under the hood. didnt really see anything wrong so went back and started the car again. turn ont he switch for headlights but the dash, tail light, corners didnt turn on. only headlights would be on. turn signals and brake light work. weird thing is that when i turn ont he switch the accessories light dont come on. but when i lock the car with the remote, those lights (dash, tail light, corners) would come on. anyone know what the problem is? i checked allt he fuses and is working properly.
