I’m new here but have been trying to figure out why my d4 light is blinking and trans is shifting at 4000 rpms. I have a 97 Acura CL 3.0. Basically I lost my keys for about a week and the car just sat, I changed the tps and map sensor and idle air control valve, then once I got a new key made and turned the vehicle on the d4 light started blinking out of nowhere and I’m getting a code for tcm malfunction and tps circuit high, could really use some help

 

If the transmission was fine before then my bet is that you left a harness unplugged. Go check and double check all wiring and get back to me. It should be as simple as that… assuming this problem really did come out of nowhere! Good luck. Let me know
