Whenever turning on my cruise control it decides to accelerate. Anyone have this problem or know how to remedy it?

 

christ almighty!!!! ive never used mine nore do i know how it works but on other (older) cars its vacuum operated and so if there was a prob. with too much vacuum pressure could cause a gain in speed buuuuuut i thinks there might be some computer control on our cl's,but im guessing.
