It doesn't matter if i'm sitting at a red light, accelerating/decelerating, turning or just cruising from point A to point B.

"SOMETIMES" she stalls & cuts off, then after several attempts of restarting (2 to 5 times of turning the ignition key) it starts & drives like there was "NEVER" a problem. Several days later & i'm having the same issue... RPM drops, car stalls & cuts off ... I have to play the "restart game " & she is fine again.

btw... there are no check engine light or any codes.

PLEASE help in resolving this issue.

 

Try your battery and alternator. When you are driving, do you lights dim? When my last alternator went out, it would restart, but then cut out again.

 

Does the ignition just shut off or everything? If it's just the ignition, there was a recall on the ignition switches I think that caused them to just shut off at times.

its your ignition switch they have been recalled by acura you can call your local dealer and have them runb your vin number to see if they have replaced it before..my 99 CL 2.3 did the same thing you should get it fixed asap because it will just get worse as in you need to hold the key for it to remain on
