charging system light (battery)

I recently replaced my alternator and now when I turn the car on the battery light comes on when I start then after a few seconds it blinks (not rapidly) than the light goes out after maybe 15-20 seconds. Anyone know what the deal is??

Maybe your new alternator is weak or the Voltage regulator is going out - it's either charging high 16V+ or low 11V-...

Intermittent battery lights are usually a tell tale sign of an alternator on its way out...
