Hello all

ok..replaced tps and iac but car still wants to stall when giving it gas..
what could this be??i was hoping after replacing those 2 parts it would solve the issue but it did not..

any suggestions?

Is the gas in the tank old? Maybe drain it and put some new gas in there.

 

no..not old

just changed the gas filter today...still not working

when u gie it gas it wants to stall..like gas isnt getting to where its suppose to

 

Check your injectors. Are they humming or making clicking noises? When you first turn the car on can you hear the fuel pump(when you turn key all the way forward without staring it)?

but turns out its the ecu ...
i just ordered one..
will update post once installed and see if that solves it..

 

well its not the ECU..sent it out for a full on test and it came back as nothing is wrong..

anymore ideas??

 

I'd say injectors or other fuel delivery? other than that I would check your spark plugs, check your plug wires, distributor, etc.

 

distributor is new..plugs are about a year old now..gas filter new,the fuel pressure was tested and its working..

could it be my map sensor is bad??i didnt replace that yet or mayb sum connection is broken when the tps was replaced??

I'm watching this also, my car will stall after starting, but just sometimes. Other times it's perfect. After I get the car into gear and going it never stalls again just after start. Cold/hot doesn't matter.

 

Check your timing. It could be off a tooth?

Also check to make sure your not sucking in air after the map sensor. That can cause a mysterious power loss/engine dying.
