Have a 99 3.0 cl and got a weird problem, ill be driving and my car jist shut off and the green key reminder light comes on and lights in car and headlites dont dim at all, soon as I stop and put car in neutral or park all the lights on dash come on likeit usually does and starts up no problem, does it every once in a while, someone had told me it could be airflow sensor and fixed his problem just like to hear other ideas, thanks

 

Ignition issue?

 

These cars had a known ignition recall, I believe the culprit was a faulty ignition switch. Sounds like your car is having that issue

 

yeah it does have that recall, called local dealer and said according to my vin# it has been replaced, must have been b4 i bought it, if it is the same recall i might still have to pay for labor, labor at a dealership is not cheap and ive had bad experiences there, not sure what it would cost for a mechanic to do the job
