hey guys,
i got a quick question
it seems every so often when i'm driving my engine will turn off by itself when i'm coming to a stop..it'll happen usually once a day...the decka nd everything will stay on but the engine just turns off and doesn;t jerk or anything...i also realized my car idles a little low...could it both problems be due to the throttle body needing a cleaning or any other suggestions??

its the ignition switch, theres a recall for it, go to acura dealer and they will fix it

 

Just had my car towed to Acura tonight with the same symptoms. Hopefully its the recall. Won't know until the morning.

So I have a 1998 2.3CL stick. I have the same issue, it will shut off on highway or just normal driving and I just got to tick the key forward a little bit and the car 'restarts'. Will they fix with 231k on the clock and me not original owner?

 

yes because its a recall.
