Do the rpms drop, or raise? Or do they stay at the same constant revolutions?

Give me more details and I'll try and help you out. But help me by telling me everything...miles, what you've done to your car lately (tune up wise, etc...)....

A couple of possibilities roughly in order of liklihood:

1) Ignition switch problem - If it stops like a heart attack w/o a hint of a stumble, suspect the ignition switch may be opening temporarily and causing loss of spark. New switch is fix.

2) Main Fuel Relay - If it seems to just slow down and stall, the main fuel relay may be failing which stops the fuel pump.

good luck

Keyswitch assy is probably $50-$75, depending on source. It's a fairly easy DIY. Check following link for tips on replacing Accord keyswitch which should be similar.

good luck

Do they replace the whole ignition assembly with the recall?

I had mine done but was wondering.....

The key/security wasn't an issue like I thought with mine.

Have you had the recall done?
