Cant find the plug to connect computer to check codes

I have looked for it, and I cant find it. Would it be plugged into something? I didnt thing it would, but I cant find it. Also, I am having trouble with the transmission drain and fill. I have a 1997 3.0, and I cant seem to find the fill bolt, should I just fill it through the dipstick tube? I know there is alot of tranny questions, and I am sorry for another one, but any expert help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

he is right about the plug being behind the ashtray. On the transmission there is no "fill bolt" only a drain plug. You fill the transmission by taking the dipstick out and using a funnel and filling it through the dipstick tube

nice, thanks for the help guys. I ask about the fill bolt on the tranny, cause I have read that there is one on the 3.0, but I cant find it, so I will just fill through the dipstick tube. Does anybody else have this problem too, that the gas light doesn't come on, but the car will run out of gas if you let it get too low?

I finally found the fill bolt, and now I feel stupid cause it is right on the top of the tranny and says ATF on it. When I check my fluid, it is always above both holes, when the engine is on and in park, and when it is off but warmed up. Do you guys think I should just drain a little bit out, so it is between the marks on the dipstick, or should I drain all of it, and put the new stuff in. I went to the Acura dealership, and got some of the ATF DW-1, cause thats what the tech suggested, he said that was the new ATF Acura is using. Im afraid that if I drain and refil it, I will get these problems so many others on here write about. I had the dude at autozone hook up the diagnostic machine, and my car didnt throw any codes, so I am confused what I should do.
