Bumpy ride, problem with suspension

I am having an annoying problem for about a year and its getting louder. I have a 1997 acura cl 3.0. I changed my front struts two years ago. The car is 14 years old. The sway bar links changed three years ago. The car feels all the bumps in the road, its noisey. I need some help locating this problem. I did notice some hair line dry cracks in the outer control arm bushing. When I jack up the car, the center tube of the bushing becomes offset in its bore. I wonder if these bushings need to be changed, is this a problematic area? Im not sure what else it could be. Thanks

I would inspect all the bushings and replace anything craked all the way though. Also, the rear shocks probably need to be changed if they have not been. good places to start. this car probably needs a good overhaul on the suspension.

If you plan to keep the car, I would replace all the bushings, as well as the shocks/springs

Yeah, i suggest the same. I changed the shocks and it still sound like crap while going over bumpy roads. So yeah, change the bushings

I use Tein S-techs on stocks shocks. still with the OEM feel with a 1.8 drop. probably with you it might be even lower since you have a 3.0 But be advised that stock shocks will blow faster if you lower the car with the stockies

The newb guide will point you in the right direction.
