Just take a screw driver cover it with some tape or plastic and pop out the tweeter cover. The tweeter is connected to the cover. It's was very hard to me to pop out the tweeter the first time.
If you are going to put new tweeters in and use the OEM door speaker, make sure you have an crossover or low frequency filter connected to it. Otherwise you'll damage your new tweeter. The OEM tweeter has a filter built on the speaker.

Just use a small flathead. It's not hard, comes right out like this, this is a pic with my new tweeters
