Iim about to purchase this 97 3.0CL but then i started reading about all of these transmission problems. The one I"m looking @ has an auto. tranny and it has just over 100k mi. I read something about a factory recall...
HOw Does this recall work?? What does it cover?
Are there any other recalls or notorious problems that these cars have? ?

my '97 3.0 CL has over 194,000 miles on it and the tranny is still running strong.
