Blaaahhh busted radiator stop leak

Blaaahhh busted radiator stop leak

Welp got a hole near the top of rad in front gonna try some bars stop leak anybody have good exp with it? If it doesn't work guess weld or replace time

id stay away from that stuff like the plague unless you're gonna dump the car or the motor in the near future. once that stuff gets in your cooling system i cant see it all ever coming out. just my

You're better off just carrying a gallon or two of water with you, that crap will clog your system and then you will have 2 issues to deal with instead of just one.

Just replace! Farely easy and like 98 bucks for a new one nowadays unless you insist on an oem one. I've had one from advance auto in for about 6 months now and it seems fine.

Weld is best way. Replace can be $$.
Advise no on Stop Leak.

Just do yourself the favor and replace it, the stop leak is a bad idea.

The stop leak is a bandaid fix I would replace ASAP

ok guys thanx. I may not use it. I found the crack may try to have it welded or jb weld n see if it works done it before with good results lol

I think this is one of the cases where the "shortcut" may be the long way, if it's cracking now its only a matter of time till it gives out at another point don't u think?

You can get a rad real cheap and replacing is real easy. Dont use that crap

Replacing the rad was the first thing I had to do back when I bought my CL. It was like $70 at advance auto parts.
