Battery Drain overnight ???
I am looking for some help into a 1998 2.3 CL I just bought. I am having a problem with the battery draining overnight. I thought it might be the battery so I had it tested and it was bad, So I replaced it with an aftermarket one. It then started so I drove it up and had the alternator tested and it is OK. So I thought my problem might be gone, next morning go out and the battery dead as a door nail, .19 volts so I charged it back up all day. Started testing the amps while pulling fuses and couldnt get it to drop when one was pulled. So I pulled all the under hood fuses and left the car over night, next morning DEAD!!!!
So recharged it yesterday and decided to pull all the under dash fuses, this morning DEAD
again. What could be happening? I am looking to you guys for help......

So I was searching thru some old post on battery drain and one mention:
"Check first that your ground wire is fully connected, not rusted . You maybe finding you may have a bad ground or cable that is discharging the battery.
Looking at my ground that goes down the tranny is major corroded, could a faulty ground cause a battery drain?????
