anti-theft help

for some fucked reason, when my car was getting oil changed they disconnected the battery. (there saying they didn't), but when i picked my car up it said code(whatever) my friend put in random things all times, so that locked me out further i believe. now i gave up on facotry radio, i have a aftermarket one now.

but i want to get my Red "RADIO" remote lead working. i used a 12v switched but it became a problem at drive in movies, my running lights and things were on, i want it to be proper, so i need that RADIO lead working. is there another place were it would be live? or what would be my next step?

if you want it on without the DRLs (Thankfully mine doesnt have those abombinations, only the Canadian models apparantly) im assuming the DRLs are on when the car is set to the ON position, shouldnt the stereo work on ACC or are the DRLs on then too.......... if thats the case youll probably be looking at tapping a contantly hot lead, splice it with your Yellow Constant lead maybe and that might work, but if thats the case youd have to turn it off all the time

Option 2, maybe you can bypass the DRLs with a switch wired into the car somewhere, just have it disconnect the circuit to the bulb at the OFF posistion
