Air intake control valve

took apart and cleaned it following a DIY guide on the forums and my dumbass totally forgot to put the gasket back on. I started it then after about 2 minutes of it running a big cloud of white smoke shot out of the exhaust and it stalled out. It will not start up again the engine just turns over. I have my girlfriends brother in law who is a decent mechanic coming over tommorow to try and figure it out for me. I would greatly appreciate some sort of direction in which i should tell him to go in trying to solve the problem.

Any of you pro DIY'ers got any places we should start the trouble shoot?

and just to add its a 3.0 98 cl and since i first took everything apart and cleaned it, i HAVE NOT done anything else to it.

It may just be a matter of cleaning the stuff out again and replacing the gasket with a new one. I am a little overwhelmed and unsure of where to start, so again i appreciate anyones time who posts any advice.

Problem solved

Well if by any chance any of you ever screw up like i did i solved the problem.

Took everything apart cleaned it out again and put a new gasket on that finally came in from acura. Then i just let it sit for a few days and it started up and is now working perfect.

Apparently i had flooded the engine.
