I was trying to replace the wooden trim on the passenger driver side and i managed to get the black plastic cover off, i tested the lock/ unlock while it was out and it still works, after putting it back in and locking the doors nothing happens. It only unlocks but the remote can both lock and unlock the doors. What just happen?

 

sounds like when you put the trim piece back on it isnt seating the same as it was before you took it off and interfereing with the locks ability to move. try taking it back off and retesting it to make sure it moves both ways...then reinstall and make sure its seated properly. i remember painting my wood grain and having to take those off. they can be a PITA to get seated properly. good luck!
