Exclamation acura 3.0 cl drive light (d4)

Hey, im new to the forums, so what's up!! I have a 97 acura 3.0 cl(on it's first transmission). Sometimes when i am on the freeway and I have been driving fo a while my d4 light on the dash will go out and it seems like the car slips out of over drive. When i ease off the gas and slow down the light comes back on and everything returns to normal. this problem seldom happens, but when it does it seems like it happens on long trips. If anyone has any insight on what could be happening, please let me know!!! I hope i am not on my way to tranny # 2, I only have about 98,000 miles on it

d4 light

I appreciate you responding. Is this something that is relatively simple to do and how much are the parts? Do you know approximately how much it would cost to have a mechanic do this "work"?
