Question ABS light and right turn signal fuse issue

I just bought my '97 2.2CL and it has some issues. My ABS Indicator light on the dash was lit, and the guy I bought it from said he messed with some of the fuses. The 7.5 amp "heated mirror" fuse under the dash was missing so I replaced it. To my delight the ABS light went out... only problem is now the right turn signal is stuck on. If I pull the fuse back out, the ABS light comes back on and the turn signal works properly, WTF! I hope someone can help me out. This is just one of the many annoyances with this car. Thanks.

The "heated mirror" fuse also supplies power to the ABS module. ABS light will always illuminate since the ABS module will fail the self-test w/o power. If your front and rear right turn signals are on, that circuit is most likely providing power to the right turn signal light.

I would ask the previous owner what he/she did and reverse the process. If that doesn't work, from the under-dash fuse box, locate the turn signal/hazard relay. It should be located in the upper-left of the fuse panel. Follow the GRN/YEL wire from there and ensure there is nothing tapping into it.

Lastly drop kick the guy who did this. Good luck.
