Ive searched and found info and getting rid of the third brake light but all I want to do is replace the freakin bulb.

Ive yanked on the cover and cant seem to pry it loose?

Do I have to get at it from under the trunk or will that cover eventually come off?

You have to go inside the trunk and get the bulb out

 

Yeah you just go into the trunk and twist the socket holding the bulb out...

 

wow. this is actually in the manual. sad.
