I parked my CL sometime in 2011 and am planning on getting it back on the road soon. I intend to replace tires, timing belt/water pump, serpentine belts, radiator flush, oil change, spark plugs, air filter, and clean egr passages. Brake rotors look pretty rusty. I'm hoping they'll burn off and be smooth again. Any special considerations and/or tips would be greatly appreciated.

 

definitely will probably need a battery and you'll need to put fresh gas in and a new fuel filter. the rotors will probably need to be resurfaced because the brake pads embed into the rotor. probably should change trans fluid and brake fluid as well. Acura brake fluid doesn't hold up for much longer than 3 years. oh and change the thermostat when you flush the coolant.

 

I would suggest using Techron for a few tanks as well.
