I just bought a Acura 97 2.2 CL and know nothing about it. While driving,I have to pump up the gas pedal pretty hard . It is not smooth. I have another honda accord and it is pretty smooth. Any pointers, what could be the problem. There is no problem with the power. This baby runs like anything but gas pedal is a bit time pain in my leg :-)

your going to have to check alll the cable connections to make sure nothing is binding. Also make sure your carpet isnt getting in the way ( ive had this issue before ) You want to make sure that you thottle cable is free from any damage as well, and check to see if the pedal moves freely when you disconnect the cable from the TB. If its hard to move, try lubricating it or replace the bushings between the joints were it pivots.
