Rattling and clanking all over

Has anyone been thru this? I have to turn up my radio just to drown out the constant clanking and rattling and its hard to say exactly where it is coming from because its eeeevery where.

Do I drive it straight to the junk yard or should I invest 12 hours into tightneing every nut and bolt?

Yup

I have a rattling and buzzing from the back of my car only- one of the service guys at Acura told me that there's a problem with those stock Bose speakers where the cone is busted. I haven't replaced my speakers yet but that could be the source of your problem.

i had some rattling problems though they werent as bad as what you are saying...i took it to the honda dealership where my friends work, they said probably loose heat shield....acura dealership said same thing...then took it to the muffler shop and it was the catilytic converter...the pieces inside were all broken up...replaced that and its pretty much fixed....it was never REALLY loud like you are saying though....

the main noise from it was when i was going up hill while in a higher gear....or when i started from 2nd from a stop or something and the engine would shake and the rattle would be really bad....

you might want to get that checked out....i cant imagine its coming from the speakers...but i dono...if you can hear it rattle from the outside of the car then you know its not the speakers

My bad rattling was the heatshield on my cat

The door panels do rattle a bit, they're hollow. I dynamatted the inside of the door panels when I put my components in, to match the dynamatted rear deck and trunk, and I have close to no rattles now even with 2 x 12's.

But most likely if you're hearing a metal rattle, it's the cat heat shield
