weird request

I know this is going to sound weird but I need a picture looking straight down on the top of a 1st Gen CL. I am working with 3ds max and am going to model the car and need a top view to put in there to model the car so I can do some customizing to the car. If anyone has a top view of the car please upload it or send me a link so I can get this thing modeled and created. If you happen to know of any blueprints of the 1st gen CL that will work as well but I can make a line drawing with the photograph if I need to, that's how I did the sides, rear and front but have no way to get above the car to get an aerial view looking down on it

ok well that didn't work very well. I cant get the car under the tree anywhere that i can get high enough to get a full picture of the car to show up in the picture. Does anyone have any idea on how to get an aerial view. There is no way to model this thing without an aerial view. I have googled looking for any aerial pictures to no avail. I was wanting to do this so I could come up with some wild mods to the body to see what I may go with thats original as far as body mods

If you don't have a two story house, couldn't you just get up on your roof and snap the pic

If your scared, I can do it for you tomorrow lol.

well with my bad back I don't do any climbing. I had my nephew come over to take the pic in the tree (which didn't work). This project takes a long time just in 3ds max. I think I had over 100 hours of work in the RX8 I just finished but it turned out pretty good and wanted to try it with the CL

3d Studio Max is a pretty serious program. That and Mya are both pretty expensive programs. And I bitch about buying the Adobe Suite every couple of years.

I have all of these as well, even though I don't think I have ever used mya but I do have it here. I used to be a commercial artist on the side working with a family members firm. This is my real first time messing with animation and stuff but used autocad for 3d images since the late 90's

I don't need this picture any longer. I guess I will use the front, side and rear view to model it. I think it should be all I need

I wanted to see what the Back Yard Special front bumper would look like. It has hard edges that would need to smoothed out for the CL. It doesn't look too bad though. It's the only body kit I've ever liked.

I love the BYS designs, but not so much on a CL. I think whatever bumper that goes on a CL should be contoured for the front point.
