it looks like you did a good job, but i'm not really feelin the green

and it looks like you took out the trunk interior panels and just layed the carpeting right on the metal
question #1 how did you bond the carpet to the metal
#2 can we see more detailed pis to see how much of the trunk you did, for example the corners by the tailights etc...

i just adhered the carpet to the exsisting carpet.

Gian, Johnny : you guys both have pieces of metal on your car powdercoated the same color. I left my mark in 407, heh!

I was just thinkin about that.. that's pretty cool right?

Hope all is well.

what did you use to stick the carpet on the existing carpet?
and btw why didn't you do the bottom of the trunk?

mitch, I didn't buy Acura's optional trunk carpet just so it can sit in my basement.

The trunk carpet matches the interior carpet and is a nice touch.

besides, you need to have access to the spare.

And the amount of that green carpet that I had left was DEFINITELY not enough

to accommodate the lift-up portion of the trunk tray.

It screams out PIMP when you see it in person.

I am now looking at a way to make my trunk lift slower, without taking out the torsion rod.

I may use some dampers similar to what we have under the hood.

yes, but the building of the box and the carpeting of the box was a joint effort

greg, i didn't know that you had an extra trunk carpet, never knew that cl's came with an option for it. couldn't tell also cuz of the dark pics , either way it prolly looks dope in person, rather than in pics, as most things do

yes, its always empty though.

if it was full - that'd be illegal i think

Any particular reason you roll with a gas can and floor jack in your trunk? Just wondering

theres a 2x4 in there also.

i have the jack so that I can get the car up to switch my wheels.

I know it can be in the garage,

but the regular scissor jack that comes with the car is annoying to use.

Plus, at it's lowest setting, I can't get it underneath the car.

The gas can is just incase i run out of gas or another person runs out of gas

we can go get gas and not have to worry about buying a container.

Cool, just 2 things I wouldn't really ride around with in my trunk, but you have good reasons for both. Get AAA they will bring you 5 galons of gas
