time to mow the grass

so i thought i'd start a new thread to showcase some new pics i took on break at work.
and since it's pretty low, i thought some of you would enjoy these
the car is a little dirty cuz of the hour drive, and these pics are all of the driver's side since the passenger side was still a little higher at this time, and there was bird shit on that side
anyways...without futher adieu

enjoy, all comments welcome

So are you driving around with the driver's side lowered and the pass side not?

He's in Canadia. They're probably DRLs.

yeah they are my DRLs and thanks, it's like 2 mins away from my work, two of the places i took pics there are peninsulas that are across the river from each other, and the damn is right dext to them, wanted to take some shots to get more scenery in, but it didn't seem like i could fit enough in
and no, i do not roll around half lowered.
just for some reason, one side turned out being a little lower than the other, possibly due to uneven weight or whatever.
it was only a couple turns higher, and it was only on the back.. the fronts are matched pretty perfectly... i've tried to even them out, and i will eventually get the backs at the same height...just not quite yet

thanks, what suspension are you running?

thanks, let me know what you set your suspension at, since your d2's should be the same as my k-sports, correct?
cuz i think i might need to compact the springs more, as i'm having rubbing issues when the suspension travels... and i have both front and rear at full hardness for dampening

thank you sir, and i have so much room left to lower on the coliovers, too bad everything else keeps getting in the way, i'd go lower if i could

lol thanks Mo, and actually this year is pretty cold for summer..sucks
and winter times are "nice".... just kinda cold tho

i'm sure you could be, our streets are pretty bad here, i slow completely down for some railroad tracks etc..
we have some of the worst roads i believe, as our temperature varies the most, goes from -40*F to 90*F in the course of a year
i just swerve away from all the potholes and try to avoid the bad roads, i hear my mudflaps scrape a few times daily

i can tell that's quite the compliment, thanks fellow

thanks, she cleans up well.
and yeah it's just outside a pretty small city, so not much development... i really like places that look naturally, or almost naturally beautiful like this...
so i drive on the nice green grass to take pics of my polluting car

thanks Mo..... and ofcourse i had to comment on this comment
it sucks when someone asks something and they're not answered or heard, and since this is my thread, i appreciate all the comments and questions, and reply accordingly

thanks, i saw a few guys doing this in the other sections of AZ and it really made everything a lot cleaner looking, making it clear when the OP posts again aswell, i hate it when someone posts like 3 times in a row

thanks, the front may be a little to low, cuz it's rubbing the tires a little on the fender liner, but i'll see if i can stiffen it up instead or something, or maybe just buy new tires sooner
cuz i love being that low
and the wheels are my favorite stock cl wheels by far, they looked 100x better on the car when it was dropped too.
was thinking about painting them black, and then proceed to black out a few other things, but i really like the contrast of the wheels and the black paint
maybe paint them another color or something, but i like keeping things close to stock, so it's easy to resell after

i sure am feeling the love from AZ:gheyhug: thanks guys, i guess that's what happens when you take your cl out of 4x4 status, and put it on lawnmower status

TBH that sounded really homo, i'm positive you could've taken an extra minute and worded it a little better, it's all good tho
and i didn't think anyone had any hate towards me on here, but also i never made the posts/threads i do now, since i didn't want to clutter AZ with more pics of stock looking cl's, so it's good to show some of these ppl what my car looks like, cuz many of them have never seen the outside shots of her before

out of all the cl wheels, these are my favorite.
i really like big face wheels, and being dropped this low def makes the wheels look bigger, even in person.
i've been thinking about painting them, but i kinda like the contrast between them and the black paint

nice vid
yeah i really like it, just hate that it rubs over bumps or really fast corners
but just save up, and hopefully you'll get a good deal on some coils too, totally worth it in the long run compared to springs or springs/shocks IMO
and it just makes my car stand out now, cuz it's as low as almost anyone on the road, with no lips or anything, just the way i like it

thanks, i think i might
i just love the murdered out theme, i'm prolly gonna get darker tints soon too.

Unless someone can PS me a pic of my car with the wheels black
or find a pic of a slammed black cl with the same 97 2.2 wheels painted black
this would greatly help in my decision making process

oh and i should get some pics of my car at work, looks so out of place there
btw i work on the highways, so i park my car off the sideroads in the grass usually, next to everybody's trucks and all the machinery... i'll maybe get some pics if they give me a light for the top of my car soon
my cl is the work truck/highway queen now

they are Goodyear Assurance Triple tread
yes 205/55/r16 which is the stock specs i believe
they came on the car when i bought it a little over 2 years ago, and have been used for spring/summer/fall as i have steelies for winter time
but i think i have put about 40000kms on the tires so far, and about 30000kms on them since i've been lowered

yeah they're pretty good, i don't have too much experience with tires as i have always just left on what the previous owner had
but they seem to be good in almost all conditions, although they do not seem like much of an allseason tire, not here anyways, they suck in slush and snow, but that's why i have winter tires to use

^thanks buddy
yeah, i almost left for a little bit there, but decided that it's not worth it to sell
314xxxkms and still running good
aslong as i have the storage space, i don't see a reason for selling it, and even keeping it as a backup car.
But storage space is one of the things i lack while still living at home

yes, slammed, no camber kits, plus flat-ish big face wheels(stockies) and it looks pretty damn good if i may say so myself

^good question
this changes all the time in my mind, depending on what i want to do as far as buying another car now or waiting for something else.
I have installed supertones recently, and next plan will be the wheels most likely (but depends on if i can find tires for a decent price or not too).
If i can find a thule or yakima rack that would probably be good too, for my bike, and maybe get a snowboard for the winter.
Other than that i like to keep the CL pretty much stock, as it's already high mileage car, and the QP's are starting to rust through the metal again. So i'm not trying to put a bunch of money in it, or make it any less reliable with power adders or motor swaps etc..
the only mods i can forsee me doing in the future would be a few led's, fogs, tinting of windows and other things or other similar small touches like that
i did put the interior and stock stereo back in again, and i think it will probably stay that way, as i don't really want to dump a bunch of money in equipment like that again...
and Chris, if you do find a cheap 98-99 black steering wheel airbag on your ebay bargain hunts, let me know, as i would love to do the mdx steering wheel swap to the black one with wood, but the bags themselves are so damn expensive
