you guys ever think about selling the CL but then take a good look at it and say what was i thinking.. lol lately I've been contemplating about putting it up for sale but i was looking through some pics and found it difficult to.. anyways while i was looking through some pics figured I'd post some up to share with you guys..

yeah if i were to sell as is then i'd definitely be picky as to who buys it, i'd hate to see some kid put a huge VTEC sticker on the car and gas it from stop light to stop light

Looks awesome man. How much modification did you need to get that puppy to fit on there? Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it?

 

the rear is the most difficult to get to fit perfectly and line up.. you have to choose between either making the rear lip sit higher or modifying the lip like klepto to have it sit lower and line up with the side skirts, like dragon084 pointed out, my 2nd pic is how the rear lip used to sit on my car before modifiying it and you can see how it doesn't line up..

Ohhh your cl looks just like mine...seeing as we have the exact same kit. I noticed your rear lip...on the driver side is angled up. But the other side is angled down. Is that what you were saying you fixed?

When I installed mine I tried to make sure it was angled down. It's got a bit of a gap at the fender well where it doesnt fit flush. But that's the best I could do for it.

Even tho the side skirts don't line up. I think it makes a big difference. Without it the CL looks pretty stock. Makes the car look lower too.

 

i still dont like when the skirts are lower than the front lip.

^yup, it's also the reason i don't really wanna put a lip on the cl, well an abs lip anyways cuz i know it won't line up with the stock sideskirts and that would bug the crap outta me

 

U can get skirts to line up with the abs lip better tahn the ww lips

 

yeah that's what i meant by saying it doesn't line up.. the driver side was sitting a bit higher than the right side and it was a pain in the ass tryna fix but i eventually got it to line up. sadly everything lines up except the front lip but oh well aint much i can do about that..

Aint that the truth! Idk, i had 1 thought of selling it while i was going through some drama with the car, but then i got it fully functional again and went for a drive, and i slapped myself for having even thought that.


I wonder if u can shave some of the material off the top of the sideskirts to raise it high enough to line it up with the WW lip.

hmm i guess matt looks lower with his sportlines because he has a heavier engine (h22)

 

ended up just getting same engine im just gonna finish the body and rims
