I run the full 75 shot. The only thing I ensure I do is change my plugs on race nights to ensure I'm taking the extra heat away. This car only has about 60,000 miles so it burns the fuel and nitrous very clean.

I like ZEX because I can adjust the point in which the nitrous is activated, ZEX markets the injection at full throttle, what I found is I'm melting my tires at the line, will need to seriously consider slicks for the track. Hoping to post Mid 12's.

On the way, ractive air/fuel gauge and pillar pod, will help ensure I don't lean out at the wrong time. Will post updated pics shortly.

Here in Calgary, there are not to many of these models around, as far as I know I'm the only one in the city of about 1mill. with a 1st gen. street machine CL. I find it amusing when the stocker CL 3.2 Type S wants to go and they end up watching my back end. All I can say is see ya!!!!

Hey, Have a weapon R short ram intake I no longer need anyone interested. Have two filters one can be set up to allow real ram air. The other is the ZEX air filter for nitrous, you can plug your dry nitrous right into the filter for perfect atomization every time.

Let me know....

C'mon Dan Man, a Sleeper is a car that is apparently nothing but stock. The "sleeper" is one which no one would expect to have any significant mods.

Nitrous is the "trick", You pull up to me thinking your all that and low and behold at the light your eating my dust. That's a "sleeper"

As for turbo, been there and done that. Learned a long time ago that money does'nt grow on trees and that $$ spent on your vehicle should perform without breaking your bank account. What good is a tight ride that you can't afford to fill up??

Your ride for sure. At under a grand you should consider the juice as your next project, then you'll relate and believe.

Not if they have'nt juiced it up. With a 260 hp base they need to step it up to 300+ to pace a 1/4 mile time. I've put the cl to the test and to date have not come across anyone with a vehicle in my catagory that has beat me. Who would want to put there 2nd gen cl thru the beef up process with the warranty becoming void which was an issue to me with mine until it ran out.

Have not been beaten by any 1st or 2nd gen cl's as of yet, although I'm positive it is only a matter of time before they start steppin up.

Once bored with the first gen, I'll move into the 2nd gen when warranty is no longer an issue.

Canada my friend, probably a little to far to come for a race, but I suspect your packin which is cool. NC is probably in excess of 3000 miles one way.

hook up your link so I can check your ride out...

Nice ride. same as mine except for the tint.

I gotta hear your exhaust sometime. I'm itchin' to do something to my car, but I want to get rid of it at the same time though.

If you ever hear an obnoxiously loud HUMM coming from a black CL, thats me

you hope to run 12's?

Dustbuster has WAY more mods than you and all you have is the intake, plugs, wires, exhaust and NOS?

Dust has all that then the helix power tower, and a engine with 40k on it and he has headers as well and hes barely in the 13's,

FastvtecCL has a dual shot, 2 x 75 = 125 shot of ZEX and he ran i know for sure a 13.112 so i think you can almost make 12's but not too sure cause you need more done

but i have to say the car is DAMN clean for being in the snow, you baby the car i can see

nice ride keep up with all the good work

Keith ran a 13.4 if I'm not mistaken. Not a 13.1. Unless I missed a thread.

Its funny how this noob thinks the CL is fast. Gave me a good laugh.

yea he ran 13.4 quickest et, 110 fastest trap(with upgraded injectors).

for you to reach mid 12's, youd better be running on some hopes and prayers cuz its not happening with what you have now. with a 75 shot and intake youll be lucky to trap 97-98mph.

my limited edition hks powered CL makes 20,600 hp to the wheels- plus another 100hp with my kumho ub3r slicks, and mugen rims. the engine itself is a prototype h44- two h22 motors welded together creating v8 action. twin turbo? thats nothing.. my hks powered CL is equipped with a quad turbo set up. the ub3r mugen wing stablizes my car as i am driving in mach 10 down the autobahn.

Mid 12s? No way man. FastvtecCL hit a 13.4 with a 125 shot (I believe), plus ALL the bolt ons.

Exhaust doesn't do too much on our 3.0s without headers. So all you have is a V2 and a 75shot. You are only talking a little over 200 to the wheels. That's high 14s. A CL-S with I/H would stomp you.
