Pictures of my (gulp) Solara with chrome 18's

Hi Guys, I have been a member of this site for quite a long time. I was totally set on a first gen CL until I learned that the V6 Solara was available with a stick. Plus, TRD makes a supercharger that is only $1850 right now. TRD also makes lots of other stuff for it too. I probably wont get the supercharger though, because $1850 (although cheap for a supercharger) is still a lot of $$. So needless to say, I ended up getting a Solara and here are pics in case any one is interested. Btw, I still like the look of the first gen CL, but I think the Solara looks pretty tight as well. Be sure to check out the mesh grill I made on page 3 of my site!

There already is one, www.solaraguy.com . But since the Solara and CL are such similar cars, I just wanted to to give people an opportunity to see another car in the same class.

The V6 Solara (which I have) has a dohc, 200hp engine. The TRD supercharger adds 50hp to the wheels, and you can increase the hp even more by switching pulleys for the supercharger.

Not bad.

You got balls for coming here and posting it, but not a bad car at all. Get the S/C or we'll just have fun blowing your doors off!

Thanks dajuice. However, if by blowing my doors off you mean the CL is faster, I think you may be mistaken. The '99 Solara SE V6 stick goes 0-60 stock in around 7.0 seconds. Conversely, the '97-'99 3.0CL 0-60 times are around 7.8 stock. Check it out at Solara 0-60 time . Like I said though, I still may have gotten a CL, but the V6 didn't come with a manual, so that obviously influenced my decision.
