The paint came out good, I just dont know if I like that color. But its good enough for me, right now at least. I was going to do red, but im not a big fan of it, and other people have theirs painted red.

Looks real nice, I got all my pieces off and primed and ready to paint, did you remove the emblems, or just tape over them?

 

Painted over them. then just sanded the lettering down and used a brush to paint, taping it off was way too hard since they are so small. And the A emblem, i broke the 2 posts holding it in cause there was a metal thing holding it on, and to take the A off I had to pop off the metal crap, but since the posts were plastic, they broke. Its not meant to come off. I just used some gorilla glue to put it back on. Its all good.
Didnt like the hummm from the CAI, very annoying.

 

Good idea, I'll try that out. And as for the humming, get a k&n cone, no more humming

 

what kind of paint did u use

 

engine enamel or something like that...one of those high heat automotive spray paints

Duplicolor makes a 500 deg and 1200 deg line of paints

 

yup, i think its called metallic blue
im debating on painting the battery cover too, but it might be too much

 

Leave it black, it'll help the motor stand out better, it contrasts nice on the black
