Omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I just did a sweet ass settup... I hooked up a laptop computer to a FM modulator in my CL and played mp3s and through the laptop. Everything was wireless. Unfortunatly when it ran out of power, I plugged it into a power source... but i plugged the power cord, I plugged it into the wrong splace... it was plugged into the USB slot or something for about 10 seconds... now I smell a burning smell and my computer wont start. Did I just wreck my 1000 dollar laptop... or does it need to repower fully again before i can start it?

If you smelled burning, then you prolly fried something, possibly the motherboard.

Did you have it hooked up to your car still and plug in power from your house, if so it may not have been grounded and you may have fried something.

Any time you have a burning smell coming from a computer, it cant be good.

Yes, burning smell means processor fried. MBs don't fry hot enough to smell. But the processor certainly will. That means new computer time.
