tint looks sweeeet! This summer I'm thinking of putting a layer of 50% on my 35%. My tint looks wayyyy too light right now imo.

That is what I wish I would have done. Would it be cheaper retinting with 20% or just adding another layer of 50%? I don't know how much they would charge to remove the tint.

It depends on your state tinting laws and the cops in your area as to whether or not you will get pulled over. I had a civic with 5% all around and drove it for over a year without being pulled over. IMO 15-20% is a good compromise, 5% is hard as hell to see out of at night, especially backing up... I always had to stick my head out of the window when I backed up at night.

5% tints FTW, especially with a black CL. go dark or go home, imo.

I've found that lighter tints have a weird coloring to them. Unless they have a certain tint the still looks black at a lighter percent. but most dont and look awkward IMO.

Mine is 35% sides and 20% rear with an extra reflective layer. That extra reflective layer keeps out more heat than dark tint any day.

Wow.. haven't posted a pic of my car in a loooong time..

OKAY! after like a month of in-the-shopness it's finally out. still dirty! but ehhh, here's pics! i'll show you guys what it's like. rudolph ftw!

So what's done = side markers, red calipers, red acura badges :tomatot :flamesuiton:, lowered on Tein Basics, WW front lip painted, new rotors, brake pads!

Enjoy! this is from bone stock in the summer...to my gay fender bender accident...to this! loving life now

looks good, glad to see your cl getting modded. Kinda busy for my taste tho with the red painted things, the striped headlights and the sidemarkers. if you could take the stripes out of those corner lights and paint the housing amber it would look 10x better IMO
keep it up
and are you gonna get any wheels for it or no?

wheels for sure, but i think i wanna work on my sound system/ doubledin navi first. cuz the rims i'm aiming for with tires will probably be like 1800 new. Work wheels xd9 bronze and some falkens. I sorta like the striped headlights, at night my amber lightbulbs make it look cool

true, but i like the headlights honestly haha. At night, the corner lightbulbs make them look better. Once my rear lip comes in, i'm having my mechanic paint and install it. i don't think i want to install the sides yet...but we'll see...i don't know yet, they lie too low for my tastes.

For wheels, i'm looking at some Work Wheels XD-9s in bronze + falken tires. Probably before the wheels though, i'm working on my speakers. Looking into some rockford fosgate, and a pioneer avicz1 navi. We'll see! i'll definitely keep posting up my mods though. Holding off on tint for now, not sure what
percent i want!

P.S: mods please delete the post on top, my mistake on the double post x[

did you have to quote all of the pics haha.

I kind like the red emblem on the trunk.
you need a full side shot from a back and front perspective
so we can really see what those sidemarkers look like

Look who finally lowered their car!

So far we just got the fronts on. The bolt that runs through the bushing in the lower strut is seized and we snapped it off. I went to Acura and bought new bolts and bushings for a total of $81. We're going to do some heating and cutting and hopefully get the backs put on in a couple days.

They're Tein S Techs and KYB GR2's. It's a little bouncy but not harsh at all. I wanted it to ride like stock. Thanks to guys that helped me pick out the right springs.
