Just washed need advice

I was thinking about putting eyelids on the headlights because I have a pair from my CD accord laying around that I already had painted and just need to cut to fit the CL, but I'm back and forth on it, What do you people think?

Here are some pix of it just washed from the gas station brushless carwash (was in a rush to get to work). Need to detail it soon.

My front bumper is also far from perfect. It is just amazing on how the car looks so different from when it was stock to now just by adding a front lip, lowering and putting on wheels. I am very pleased with it and to think that I drove this car for 6 years in stock form as a commuter car.

Def love the gunmetals, actually matches your lower skirts well, since they're unpainted on the 97, love the direction and the drop, keep it up

How did you keep a car stock for 6 years? My CL was in pieces 3 hrs after I picked it up from the dealer.

Nice..I kind of made an "eyelid" look. I used this product called VHT nightshade. It a translucent tint paint. Then i put s couple coats of clear and they turned out pretty good. It also hides the oxidation.

Thanks everyone, I love this car again. I just test fitted the eyelids this morning without modding them yet and I'm still undecided because I want to have a real clean look and not over do it, but eyelids aren't perminent so I might just do it tomorrow since their painted already and all I have to do is cut a little off to fit them.

LOL! I had other project cars that I was messing around with (EF hatch, CRX, CD7, EG) I wanted this car as a general commuter/just a stock car. My accords motor blew (pinched wastegate line boost 30+psi needle was off the numbers) and then I just said what the hell and transfered my rims and some of my suspension over got a front lip and now I am happy with the looks. Just got to make it as fast as my accord and I'll be done.

LOL!! I thought you had the eyelids specifically made for the CL! Wow, I was fooled. Looks nice and that is one of the reasons why I wanted to do it, plus I had them laying in my garage from my accord I never put them on.

Yah, I wasn't sure how the unpainted trim would look with the lip and the rims, but it turned out well.

Thanks for the kind words.

Before I even started modding this car I came to this site looking to see if it would just be a waste of time, but when I saw all your cars on this site, especially your's fliplyricist1 I knew that it would be worth it.

No exhaust yet, but I was going to switch my 2.5" custom exhaust from my accord to my CL.

The wheels are 5zigen copses.

nice clean look for sure. Is that a pin stripe running down the side of your car?? It is hard to tell with the glare. If that is a pin stripe, it totally matches the colour of the wheels and running boards . If you had the spoiler, it would have been perfectly lined up too, but i like your ride as is . cheers
