i thought i'd start a new thread with the new pics of the ride,

now i kno, it should be in the gallery but i didn't think they were really a gallery worthy pictures (mods, feel free to move them if u don't agree)

The tints are 35%.

this is by far like the worst part about the car:

i'm pretty sure i can get it fixed for like $300

interior:

/\ probably why i got the car, gotta love the screen, hehe

75K!

can't for get about the v1

it needs to be hardwired bad!

looks like a good start! I'd probably get that dent fixed and debadge the rear for a quick start. I know you'll take good care of her. Its also nice to have a screen already in the car when u buy it, i wish that was the case for me lol

actually, i'll probably wait on the dent. its not terrible.

i do want to take the "acura" of from the left, it already has the 2.3 removed. probably leave the "A"

but first thing first, she needs a window regulator, and a full fluid change!

welcome. Id take off the "acura" as well, keep things symmetrical. Looks like the dent is starting to rust, with rainy season upon us you should take care of the soon so that the rust doesnt start to spread.

oh and I have a v1 and a screen as well in my car. Both are very nice. Id maybe look into getting a replacement knob for that v1 though

Psh, here in Ohio, we've straight skee-daddled past rainy season. It's salt season for us!

Car looks great. I'm loving that tint. How much did that V1 cost you, cause I really need to buy a radar detecter.

Nice Legend man. I've always thought those cars were sick as fuck. You've got some really nice mods, ya just gotta finish the paint though.

thanx guys for the comments, i am digging this car more and more. also i still love my legend, infact i can't wait for sunday (my legend driving day if the weather is good)

i paid about $100 for mi v1 used, 3 years ago from my sister's crack head ex-boyfriend, my sister paid ~$450 for it new, 5 years ago. STILL WORKS LIKE NEW!!!!!

she also got one for her current boy friend for about the same amount. You can find them cheaper sometimes used. but what u should do is, goto valentine1.com and enter the serial number and see how much it would cost to upgrade to a new v1 and which version that v1 is. then decide if its worth getting that v1. ie, if they want 300 for it but it'll cost you 250 to upgrade to the latest version, its a little pricy as its probably out of date. mine being 5 years old is only version 1.6, newest is 1.8 and it only cost about $150 to upgrade, so choose wisely

v1 is simple put, the best damn radar ever! the arrows are worth it in gold just for that. best feature ever!

/\ don't you mean not sideways LOL

you couldn't have honda made them RWD but honestly, its all good, i got it to handle like a RWD

I actually just took her out for a spin (i needed to move it out of the garage to do some house (garge) cleaning :P but man, what a different feel from the CL, clutch, shifting, handling, just that sound the car makes, make me want to keep revving her to 7500!!

Mustve been like getting in a roller coaster after driving the CL lol. I didn't know the Legends could rev to 7500, does it make power all the way to redline tho?

yea, cuz with the ksports my car has no body roll, lol. very fun ride..

it does rev to 7800 thats what the rev limiter is set to, i do have aftermarket ecu, plus alot of engine work, it does rev high and does make power, it does start to drop off but its not bad. on the dyno my max power was at 6k. but at 7.3-5k its still very much pulling. oem the rev limiter is at 7300 redline start at 6.5k

sideways to me is a transverse mounted engine, not longitudinal.

its got a normal trans, not a transverse style trans, with the output shaft facing forward, on the pass side, then has a differential, pass side has a normal axle, driver side has a driveshaft running thru the oil pan (sealed) and then the axle to the hub.

and thats only what i have up online, LOL. what do u shoot with? my sister is photographer, so it rubs off, she swears by nikon. she has the d200 (shez ready to upgrade too). She forced me into a nikon, i love it, haha. I was gonna buy her old d70s but she ended up getting me a a nikon p5000, i have to say, defiantly an awesome point and shoot. plus the manual controls are awesome, on par if not better then the d70s. but i have to say, my sisters little leica does also take some sick pictures. but yea.

hopefully tomorrow will be nice, i should be able to gather a nice set during the day while at work.

also i have to add, 200miles into my ownership and i really like the car. alot more then i expected. the car is a cherry for sure. the guy the got it from never drove it hard at all. i'm really surprised by it. no legend thou
