Thanks, the temp gauge is round so it's difficult to mount. I had to take the clock housing and cut it out to fit the gauge. Then I wired it to the radio harness since I knew which wires were the ACC, dimmer, ground etc... Pretty straight forward. The sending unit is the front bumper although I'd like to get some more wire and mount it in the rear bumper, away from the engine.

I put together a 'How To' on the NSX brake upgrade. It's in the DIY/FAQ section. The rotors are from Power Slot and are for the '97 3.0 since it was hub over rotor and didn't require changing hubs.

I'll give your friend a call. Thanks for letting me know.

It's similar to this one but without the chrome. The site I bought it from had a lot of different gauges, but it's difficult to find right now.

http://www.digital-auto-gauges.com/p...-and-Cars.html

It just measures the outside air temperature and the sensor is in the front lower grill. Any of those gauges will work. Oil temp, air/fuel, boost etc...

I didn't need to contact your friend. VR wheels was able to locate 2 caps and 1 plate. They arrived a few weeks ago. They're back on the wheels and all polished up.

Pretty expensive considering what they are. I bought a spare cap/nut incase I lose another one.

About 4.5 years. I've had cops follow me on the highway like anyone else and they do nothing. Only hassle I got was from a seatbelt ticket I received in '06. They gave me a 30 day grace period to have the plates switched over. I ignored it and never had a problem.

Scott, i don't think you will have too much of a problem. As i still have cali plates on my car in FL. but for me i have to do mine sooner since i need a smog from cali every other year. so by then i have to get FL plates.

if you know someone in Cali and you use their address you don't have to get the plats changed. If you happen to get pulled over tell them you just moved down here a week or so ago and your mother still lives at the address there and thats where the car is registered at. My step father used to run Tennessee plates here in NC for about 20 years because at that time in Tenn. you didn't have to have insurance on your vehicle like you did here in NC (not sure if its still that way or not). His brother would send him his sticker or new tag every year

its not that easy when you have emissions to do. Cali is super strict on emissions.

I wasn't thinking about the emissions thing. I just remember my step father doing it with his Tennessee tags. I don't even think he had to have a inspection from Tennessee at the time and we did have to get a sticker here in NC. I guess with the Cali laws being so strict you could probably get by with it until the tag goes dead then

Everything has changed so much here in NC the past 2 years I am not sure I know how anything is any more. Up until 2 years ago you could pay someone to hook up another car to the emissions thing and get a inspection sticker for your car, or just pay someone for their sticker they just had inspected and then them go get another one. Now we have no inspection stickers and you just have to get it inspected before you can get a new tag and it goes straight to the DMV (no stickers)

This is part of the reason why I'm not in a hurry to get the new plates. I don't have someone to pass my car if it doesn't pass on its own. As soon as I register my car in NC, I have one year to have the inspection/emissions testing.

im not sure how it is in other states other than cali and FL but Cali has their registration start the day you buy the car, and in FL its starts on your bday. odd.

alot of exhausts for CLs and CB/CD accords do that. personally i had 3 different exhausts on my CL and they all scraped just as bad as the other.

you might have to modify the hangers. i'd say its mostly because our exhausts have to go under the lower control arms.

Yeah, I can probably adjust it. Just need to find a way to jack the car high enough to get under there and see what's wrong. The flange for the axle-back section has about 1.5" of ground clearance. It's scrapes a lot as is and it's even worse when I have any rear seat passengers.

I've had 2 pre-made exhausts (5zigen Fireball and the WS2), and neither one fit correctly. The best one I've owned is the custom Kteller/Magnaflow that's on my Civic right now. I had a shop weld it up and it fits nice and tight against the underbody.

same as my GReddy EVO/SP2 and Invidia N1. they were super close to the ground and practically dragged when 2 people would be in the back. bumps or not.

you seem pretty creative so im sure you'll figure it out. lol

Beautiful CL!

I live uptown Charlotte and work at Hendrick Acura and haven't seen this one! Love it! What exhaust does it have?

Very classy!
